Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the White Rose School of Beauty in Barnsley to photograph the Level 3 Media Makeup students undertaking their first project – zombie makeovers!

The room was awash with students engrossed in creating their gory zombies – from the walking wounded to monstrous designs, the students were showcasing their talents in Special Effects makeup taught to them by their amazing tutor, Emily. We had great fun meeting and photographing each of their creations which you can take a look at below. Out with the beauty makeup and in with the bullet wounds, infections, burns and bruises!

The students used a mixture of products from liquid latex, fake bloods and cream paints to build on their designs and even styled their zombies in matching costumes to make the full look come together. We think the students did a great job with their designs and hope that you enjoyed taking a look at each of the looks!
