Last Christmas, I was so lucky to receive a gorgeous gift from The Amazing Chocolate Workshop from Sue. She said she knew it would be just the perfect gift for me once her and Rachael stopped by their stall in Victoria Gate in Leeds and saw what they had to offer. Not only did they have a gorgeous Camera mould chocolate, but an amazing lock knife too!

If there are two things that interest me massively, it’s cameras and trinket knives! I’ve long been a collector of both and really appreciate the different designs and details that they both boast.
After holding off for over a month, I finally decided the time had come to stop admiring my chocolates and have a taste!
The camera is made out of Luxury Plain Italian chocolate with 64% cocoa. It’s described as velvety smooth with a naturally creamy taste which comes from specially selected cocoa beans and it isn’t bitter what so ever. The surface detail is hand finished with gold and silver edible paint which doesn’t have a taste so doesn’t affect the chocolate at all.

I’m not too sure about the exact chocolate used for the knife as it isn’t listed on their website anymore, but I can tell you this for sure, it’s one of the nicest chocolates that I’ve ever tasted! It really is creamy, smooth and velvety and doesn’t have any of the bitterness associated with darker chocolates. I shared it with Sue and Rachael and they both absolutely loved it too.

I find the level of detail on the chocolates absolutely amazing. They’re all hand finished beautifully and look so realistic too. I think they make an absolutely gorgeous gift and with such a selection of chocolates, you’ll find something to suit almost anyone. So thank you Sue, you found yet another perfect present for me!
