I just wanted to share with you a note that was was written by our latest work experience student. This bright young lady is just 15 years old, and she was a pleasure to teach. I am certain that what ever career path she chooses, she will excel in all that she does. I would employ her in a heart beat.
My time at John Divers Photography 28th March – 8th April 2011.jpg)
If there was only one thing that I could thank Kirk Balk School for, it would have to be providing me with this experience. Without thinking about it; I have to say I know and fully understand how lucky I have been, to acquire this position for my work experience. I can see, through speaking with many of my friends that I have been placed with the best possible people, and business.
Beginning from the 28th of March, I have been taught the basics and some of the unbelievable complexities of photography, psychology and business. Everything I have learned over the past fortnight –and there’s been a hell of a lot- will surely serve a purpose in my life; nothing has been irrelevant, whether it be with regards to either of the aforementioned subjects.
Photography has proposed a level of virtue which is beyond contemplation for the majority, it’s an art form, a pleasure in life with which you should create stories, consistently enhancing and utilising creativity; from positioning to editing, everything involved is consciously included in order to produce the guaranteed perfect product, which is always offered from John Divers’ Photography.
Above all else though, what I value and cherish the most regarding my time here, are the people. John and Susan Divers are quite simply the most wonderful people you will ever meet. They both have this amazing willingness to share their knowledge and experiences with me, and for that I can’t thank them enough. Even when the work and business side of things is completely dismissed, this couple are the most concerned and helpful people on Earth. Everything I’ve said is even further proved, (so you don’t have to take my word for it) by their daughter, who has obviously had an upbringing with all of these qualities; it’s said that it is always down to the parents, how their child turns out and if this is the case, Sue and John haven’t gone wrong in the slightest.
-Overall, the two weeks have flown by and it’s sad that I have to leave and continue into my education. In such a short space of time, I have come to know three amazing people who I feel that I have known for a lifetime. I know for sure how lucky I have been to come here, and I can safely say that today won’t be the last time I see Sue and John Divers.
