“A daughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful moments of the present, and the hope and promise of the future. And the mother? She is the very heart of her daughter and the exact reason for her very being.”  A mother and daughter have a special bond like no other – unconditional love and endless friendship are just two parts of what makes a mother and daughter’s relationship so important. Creating beautiful portraits is somewhat of an art form, but being able to show the beautiful, unbreakable bond between a mum and her daughter through an image is both empowering and endearing. Recently, we welcomed Anne and Lucy to our studio for their very own mother and daughter shoot. Lucy is currently in her first year at Manchester University, and living away from home for the first time has shown both mother and daughter just how unshakable their bond truly is. As Lucy was home for the Easter holidays, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to welcome them both to the studio to indulge in a little girl time and pampering. For me, I believe that mothers and their daughters should cherish every second with each other. For my daughter, her mother is and always will be her best friend, her confidante and her tower of strength. What more wonderful way is there to hold this indestructible bond in your hands and heart forever than a beautiful portrait?
